Well I was walking around and something comes across my mind.
As Singaporeans I believe that everyone is all so familiar with the yellow ribbon project? Well make a guess that who started this project? O,o Well Jesus did! We all know right from wrong and then to make things worst we go ask for the law and hence everyone start understand sin even more. How I know? My good friend Paul talks about it and even Jesus blog also has it in Romans 7:7 that my friend knows sin except through the Law. So am I right to say give devil free access to our world is worst enough, giving the Law to know sin even more. Now Mr s. a. tan having all the power to bring sickness and death to us and even worst condemn us to death, what else can be worst?
Thank God that human did not ask for more nonsense to destroy us, but now what? Well Jesus blogged in Romans 6:7 that we live with Him and He is right now in God’s right hand! How great is that? On top of that He also blogged in Matthew 5:17 that He come to complete and fulfill the Law and Prophets. Well there goes death and condemnation, PRAISE GOD! People listen here; we are given a yellow ribbon to be in God’s right hand. We are a prince, a son and a citizen in God’s heaven. How precious is that?
So now we talk about grace and people will throw you objection or their criticism like what happen to my friend. They are afraid that we preach about grace people will go out and sin more.
Let me tell you a story (they call it parables in Jesus blog) of a guy who is a gang leader and one day he manslaughter someone. So after his wife knows of his deed she decided to take the rap for him. Before going into the gallows his wife said, I love you dear and do take care while I am gone. Now tell me what will the guy do? First he can don’t care and go out and continue or secondly he can go out, start afresh in remembrance of his wife actions and stand upright and tall. People who don’t know the seriousness of their sins will take grace for granted like in the first path. They will think, YES!!!! I got grace so I can sin more. Well God will still bless them but they must take consequence of their actions.
People who know how much their sin cost (for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.) they’ll take second option and forever in love with the One who take away his sin. They will walk right knowing that Jesus is right with them loving them. If you love someone can you bear to hurt someone? If God loves you so much you think He’ll bear to see you die and be cast in hell? Hello people HE GIVE UP JESUS BECAUSE HE LOVE US. Is there a second reason to give Jesus up? Guess not.
If you choose the first opinion let me say this, it is like those convict in jail now, or people who have sexual disease, or people who in one way or another suffer consequence to their action. God still loves them, some may even be a Christian but because of a moment of foolishness they did those things. Are they still saved, able to go in heaven and enjoying God’s loves every moment in their life? YES. But it saddens Daddy that they are not enjoying the life they should enjoy. God won’t punish you for your sins no more because He nailed it on Jesus, but your actions will come in natural consequence.
Guys, next time before you want to sin willfully please reconsider because Daddy really loves you a lot and He seriously wants the best for you. To those who want to live their life as a son ship, citizenship or a prince ship of God; look onto Jesus to help you. Go to Jesus, run to him, and see yourself as right in God eyes as Jesus is. Look up and look at how God is looking at Jesus because that is how he is looking at you now. God bless you my brothers and sisters.
