She was there with only one of his disciple; both looking up at Jesus and one could only wonder where the rest of His disciples are. Such a poor thing to witness a son’s death, but did she know that it was a great thing Jesus did? Maybe yes and maybe no, but nevertheless she have such an amazing courage, a mother’s love enough to stand there witnessing everything that happened to Jesus for the good of the world.

If you were there, I bet you’ll be like the rest of them looking at her with a disapproving look, they might be thinking that such act is an outrage or scandal. But it seems like she did not mind of any of that look and murmuring, she did not even bother to reason back or defend herself. Only thing she did was to kneel at His feet and started crying, kissing tenderly, caressing and anointing His feet. Many would have supported Simon if he were to say it out loud that the woman is a notorious sinner. But instead Jesus rebuked him so gently and protected the woman and even forgives her sins! Now what did that woman know comparing to other that can trigger Jesus to forgive her sins? To Jesus such act is an act of love towards Him.

Time have past since the first anointing incident begin and just before the crucifixion of Jesus, another unnamed woman came and this time it was in a sinner’s house. She stood behind Jesus and next thing you know, she started anointing Jesus with perfume again. Where did these women come from and what do they know that we don’t? Do they know what they have done? Do they know that their act of love is preached through out the entire world?

Women mentioned in the four gospel of New Testament know of some things people don’t at that time and they were all mention. What power do women hold? How much knowledge or wisdom do they have? What do they know about Jesus? Why did God use the Samaritan woman to bring people to know Jesus? If you notice most of them are shady background. I would think women are not such a weaker vessel as you think they were or uneducated/unwise in their act or knowledge. There is something about women that only God knows, after all He did create them when we are asleep.

Even in the Old Testament you’ll see woman who are brave, wise and even God fearing. Moses was saved by a group of God fear and brave woman. Nabel’s wife, Abigail, was a very smart person and seems to me like most Christian women have Abigail’s wisdom.They are quiet learner and they even know how to make the right decisions or say the right thing to help their partners. I have seen and heard many incidents where the partners are moody or angry, some how their wife have the wisdom to say or do the right things. Sometimes they pray, sometimes they just keep quiet, sometimes she ask something simple or even just do some little actions to cool their husband off.

Women are a group of amazing people which I’ll never understand in my whole life. They can carry extra 11kg of weight during pregnancy, but some cannot carry a bag of rice. They can fight off anyone who wants to harm their young ones, but some things they won’t be able to fight off. They are not worried by any sound created by storms or thunder, but when their little ones cry it grabs their attention instantly.

Well to end this I believe Daddy did really make something amazing that is comparable and a helper to man. But I still wonder why did Daddy show me all this about woman on a Tuesday morning train ride. But I thank Daddy that I was shown about this revelation about women. I believe that there is more about women and Daddy will give me the wisdom to learn about them from time to time.
