Last Sunday I was asking Daddy that whatever I am doing now is it really worth anything? I suddenly feel so discourage and felt that I don’t contribute much to Daddy, I seriously don’t know what came over me that day. Soon after the restoration message, I told Daddy I need restoration in EVERYTHING.

Till now I still need restoration in everything, but that Sunday after the service Daddy spoke to me. Well He did not actually spoke but rebuke me so harshly but yet so gentle. He showed me a picture of the church, the anointing of priest and He asked me: “Daniel, where are you when you serve me?”

Well I don’t know where I am when I serve because Pastor did not talk to us about it (maybe he did but I was not there). Anointing of priest is from the head till the beard and then onwards, which stands for the head (Pastors), the face (leaders) and the beard (members). Where we are is actually at the heart, because servers are overflowing in Daddy’s love and they want to share. We are the ones after God’s heart. How do I know?

Before David become king or anything else, he was only a shepherd boy looking after sheep and worshiping God. He was the boy after God’s heart and that is all he did. There are many ways to worship Daddy today like singing, dancing, being in the band, sound mixing, logistic, ushering or maybe even befriending newcomers. Well everything is done as worship to Him, to show Him how much you know He loves you. Sadly I was the only guy that loses focus.

All David did was to worship, no band, no sound engineer, no logistic, no choir leader and no one even cares if he sings in the right note or not (maybe for the sheep). There I am finding myself of no use when it was actually a major issue to Daddy. If I am not there service won’t be able to start on time, recording won’t be smooth and people’s money wasted for a crap CD or DVD and most importantly the message of God won’t be spread to other people. Oh my God actually my role was that important? YES!

Just to finish the story, it was not some mighty hero that kills Goliath but a God worshiping shepherd boy. Daddy won’t care who you are, what you do, how many things you ate this morning, but the only thing you need to know is that Daddy don’t see a person the way the world sees a person. Your opinion of yourself won’t change how Daddy sees you (By the way, don’t focus on yourself but be Jesus focus).

Well the following Monday morning an event company called me and told me a certain major company in Singapore needed a sound consultant and a room to test their sound system. Praise God, He’ll put your skill into good use and I learn that no matter what or how small your role is in the house of God, He can still bless you. I really do hope this will empower people to be full of Jesus and continue to serve Him more.
