I have brought this book 1 to 2 months back and every time I want to picked it up and read, I did not have the mood so I left it in the shelf a few days after I brought it. I read a lot of books by Max Lucado and amazingly for the past few weeks I have been lending out most of the books (some of it I have not completed it yet). The last book I loan out was Facing Your Giants and I bless it to a dear care group member, Esther, because I just want to use that book to encourage her.

It happened that yesterday morning I wanted to read very much and the book I brought 2 months back came into my mind. I totally had forgotten about it except that it was written by the late Kenneth E. Hagin.

As usual I took it out and for the first time I read the title carefully and when I look into the content, I know that this is a season of wisdom and discernment. The book was titled How You Can Be Led by the Spirit of God and it happens that Pastor Prince was preaching on discernment last Sunday. How timely things can get for me this year.

This morning I saw Adeline at the MRT and I shared a lot of things with her today. Near my work place, I met Ivan and he shared with about his healing testimony. Last week he experienced an ulcer in his throat. He did everything from prayer to Holy Communion to taking medication to any possible ideas he have, but things did not seems to work for him. This morning as he was listening to one of Pastor CD, Pastor talked about ulcer being healed and he was instantly healed at that point. He even said that he heard this message a lot of times but still he can miss something as important as this.

It made me realize that sometimes it is not all the know-how that you did but it is something as simple as listening to the Word of God. During times of troubles we will always look for the how-to and not go listen to the Word of God, which is all it takes to get the problems away. I do encourage people to do things that are necessary or practical to get things done, but always never forget to bring the Word of God in. No matter what happen the Word of God is always the best weapon to use and it always have the final say in our life. The Word of God by listening can bring faith, by reading can bring faith and understanding, knowledge and wisdom and by speaking it can renew our mind, build faith and even edify the inner man.

Oh I thank you Jesus for giving me such wonderful revelation about how to use your word and it brings me back to the sermon on Pastor wanting us to know verses from Bible to help us. Praise Jesus that he showed me such a wonder thing at such a time as this to encourage people and help them. Almost half of the things I wrote in the last paragraph is something Jesus showed me while writing, I give thanks and glory to Jesus who showed me all this.
