*.* Jesus Christ - Greatest Love *.*

There are movies or drama where no matter what bad deeds the boy/girlfriend, son, daughter or even spouse does, their parents or partner still love them and even try to cover up or spare them at the expense of themselves of other? If you were to trace it back to when it all started, it was in the bible. Feeling surprise? Don’t be, because this is what God did and He did it because He loves us.

God loves the world so much that He did something that no one could imagine and that is to sacrifice His Son, Jesus Christ, at the cross. To prove this statement is true, I will quote a bible verse that I first remembered (I don’t even know which chapter or verse it was from during that time). John 3:16, for God so greatly loved and prized the world that He give up His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have life and life more abundantly. 3+1+6=10. The number of the completeness of The Law, how lovely is that, He gives Jesus to complete The Law for us all because HE LOVES US.

In movies or drama, the bad deed of the person is always comes in a great price like someone close to them taking the rap or die on their behalf. But those that die for them are those close to them or someone that even knew them. What about us? We should get what we deserve through what Adam has done and the people that asked to be judge base on behaviors. God have all the rights to let us rot or better still just roast our backside and create a new world, but instead of burning out backside or leave us to rot He send his son.

What wisdom is this from God? Send His Son down to die for us? C’mon we don’t deserve this, who said anyone deserve this? Neither you nor I nor anyone in this world deserves His Son, but He did it because He loves us. He allowed everything to happen because He create us with free will and when things goes wrong, He set them back right again. Does anyone know what does that means? We are closer to God then we really know because He wanted us to always be right with Him. He created us, give us free will, still bless us when we fall and send Jesus Christ when we are the ones that fail in every area and even ask for The Law.

We are so much more to Jesus than anyone ever realize our own worth. Abraham was called God’s friend, God shared secrets and talk to Abraham. He was so close to God that he can even sacrifice his son for God and when God saw such love he has for Him, God knew what he must do to redeem us for the love that He had for us.

What is such great love for us? That was the love that made heaven stood still on Calvary’s hill, the love that goes through all the humiliation, the love that goes through the scourging, the love that turn His back upon the Son’s cry, “my God, my God why have you forsaken me”, and that was the love that send the fire of punishment down from heaven to burn our sins that was taken by Jesus Christ.

I remember telling Ivan this, “the furthest distance is not the distance between the heaven and the earth nor was it is the sky and the ocean, it is when He is standing right in front of you to love you and yet you don’t know that.” I really wonder if Daddy God loves us so much, how much it pains Him that we don’t know how much we are loved. Remember that when Jesus walked on earth He loves every one that He came across, from the sick, the poor, the broken hearted the loss, the mighty, the weak, the unrighteous, the wicked, the shameful and every single person that is not all that right.

Well at the end of the drama or movie there will be a tragic ending, you’ll see the person feel sorrowful of the things he done and how their close ones have to suffer. In fact I was reminded of the granny in the movie money not enough 2. She shows so much love to her sons, but they return it with unkindness and even send her to old folks home. I thank God that He did not leave the ending that way for us, but He ended our life with Jesus love, blood, tears and everything good for us. Thank you Daddy.
